For 20 years Con Edison and for 8 years the Power Authority of the State of New York have been an active and cooperative part of our community. We will not deny that they have been an intrical part in the development of our Village and its services; but beyond that, they have also been a part of the development of our County and State.
To say that this is a local issue would be a miss state-
! ment. This is a National issue, and we the governing body of i the Village of Buchanan, are secure in the fact that the plants are safe, clean energy and a vital part of our future.
