This letter constitutes a supplement to our previous responses dated August 4, 1982 and QA-2193 dated January 4, 1983 concerning the subject Report.
The latter of the above responses stated that verification of cable grip installation for vertical runs of cable over thirty-five (35) feet would be verified when installed in conduit. The letter should also have included vertical cable tray risers.
In addition, delays associated with the S&L approval of DDC E-8112 have postponed the expected completion date of the effort to February 28, 1983.
Therefore, cable grip installation will be verified for cable installed on vertical cable risers and vertical conduit greater than 35 feet by February 28, 1983.
We trust the above will be found acceptable as a supplement response to the subject report.
