Dear Mr. Keppler:
This is in response to IE Bulletin 83-01 dated February 25, 1983 (Log No.
1-740) concerning Failure of Reactor Trip Breakers (Westinghouse DB-50) to Open on Automatic Trip Signal.
In accordance with the Bulletin, Toledo Edison has determined that the breakers using undervoltage trip attachment in the Reactor Protection System are not the Westinghouse DB-50 type. Therefore, no further action is required for IE Bulletin 83-01 for Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1.
