The Town of Rye very much appreciates admission to the proceedings as an interested municipality even though late. We have no quarrel with taking the proceedings as we find them.
The following are the specific subject matters of interest that you require identified as a condition of participation:
Radiation monitoring before and after the plant opens Warning of the Public Emergency planning for protection of the Public Emergency planning implementation (Public protection)
Emergency planning exercises (assure public protection)
Public evacuation insurance coverage (all eventualities)
Estimated time for contamination to reach Rye after accident Further, we wish to be allowed to address any other subjects on which interested municipalities are entitled to comment.
