Dear Mr. Keppler:
The referenced letters discussed resolution of an open item concerning multiplet analysis capability of our Automated Analytical Instrumentation System (AAIS) to which we committed to review our software system.
A review of the AAIS Sof tware has been completed and improvements will consist of the following:
1.
The peak search algorithm used in measuring radioactivity will include resolution of multiplet peaks.
2.
The calucations for error analysis will be included.
3.
The ability to subtract background radiation wi 1 be included.
4.
Where applicable, a determination of the lower limit of detectability will be included.
5.
The algorithms for classifyireg peaks will be modified.
6.
The algorithms for determining detector efficiency will be modified.
