This letter constitutes an interim report concerning the subject condition, initially reported to the Commission as a potentially reportable deficiency under 10CFR50.55(e).
As stated in our previous report, QA-2178, dated December 30, 1983, Task II of the Zimmer Quality Confirmation Program has been reviewing all welder quali-fications. This review of H. J. Kaiser Company welder performance documents and associated corrective action plans or problem resolutions in expected to be com-plete by June 30, 1983, at which time a report will be submitted.
We trust the above will be found acceptable as an interim report under 10CFR50.55(e).
