Detroit Edison Response to NRC IE Bulletin 82-04
Dear Mr. Keppler:
In response to the subject bulletin request, we hereby submit the following report.
The Project Engineering Organization (PEO) for the Enrico Fermi Power Plant, Unit 2, has reviewed the unit's safety-related systems for any applications of the electrical penetration described in the subject Bulletin. None of the electrical penetration assemblies, installed or planned for installation in safety-related systems at the Fermi 2 Plant,are supplied by Bunker Ramo. A comparison survey was performed of the nozzles provided in the containment vessel versus all the electrical penetration assemblies specified. The Fermi 2 Plant uses electrical containment penetrations manufactured by Conax Corporation exclusively. This letter constitutes the Company's final report on IE Bulletin 82-04.
