SUMMARY
- DECEMBER 1982 UNIT 2 The unit began the month at 50% full power and holding for physics testing.
On December 11, the unit tripped on low DNBR.
The trip was caused by a dropped CEA which was in turn caused by a failed upper gripper coil. The unit was returned to power on December 18.
On December 22, the unit tripped again on low DNBR. This time the exact cause of trip was not determined.
