(1) J W COOK LETTER TO J G KEPPLER DATED 1/10/83 (2) H R DENTON LETTER TO ALL NRR PERSONNEL DATED 11/20/81 The action item for the Midland Construction Completion Program requiring revision and resubmittal of Consumers Power Company's Topical Report, CPC-1A, as indicated in our above referenced letter of January 10, 1983, has been completed. Enclosed are forty (40) copies of Topical Report CPC-1A, Revision 13, dated February 17, 1983. This revision includes the following major changes:

1. Topical Report CPC-1A is revised to reflect the integration of the Quality Control organization into the Midland Project Quality Assurance Department.

2. Topical Report CPC-1A now addresses a standard definition of the term

" Safety-Related", (reference NRC memorandum H R Denton to all NRR Personnel, dated November 20, 1981, subject, " Standard definitions for commonly used Safety Classifications").

3. Topical Report CPC-1A addresses a standard definition of "Q-List".

"Q-List" now includes those Safety-Related items and other activities designated by Consumers Power Company to receive coverage of the QA Program.
