This letter consititutes an interim report concerning the subject condition, initially reported to the Commission on September 28, 1982, as a potentially reportable deficiency under 10CFR50.55(e).
CG&E has initiated a comprehensive investigation program utilizing Midway Industrial Contractors, Inc., to verify the integrity of Service Level I coatings. To date, the investigation has revealed several con-ditions which require further investigation and may require a testing program to resolve conditions found.
Upon completion of this investigation, the results will be evaluated and required corrective action identified.
Inspection is scheduled for completion in the Drywell by February 18, 1983 and in the Suppression Pool by March 18, 1983. A follow-up report will be submitted by April 15, 1983.
We trust the above will be found acceptable as an interim report under 10CFR50.55(e).
