In accordance with CG&E Letter QA-1405 and discussions between Mr. H. Sager - CG&E QA and Mr. D. Danielson - NRC Region III on 8-5-82, the Cincinnati Gas & Electric Co. requests concurrence with a partial release of Stop Work Order 80-14.
This partial release would be limited to the removal of hangers / supports, installed by Reactor Controls Inc., which are no longer acceptable from a design stand point based on the Sargent & Lundy design analysis to support redefined systems loads.
This partial release would facilitate the construction schedule and has no impact on determining the acceptability of work performed by Reactor Controls Inc.
