The commitment completion date for modifying the ERCW temperature control valves for reliable automatic operation was initially December 31,-1989, and was revised to March 29, 1991, by Reference 1.

Sinco Reference I was submitted, the ERCW temperaturo control valvos for the shutdown board-room chiller packages woro modifled by Design Change Notico (DCN) M00618A.

However, materials required to modify the main control room and electrical board room chiller packages were not received in timo to support the March 29 commitment completion date.

The modification schedules have boon revised based on material delivery schedules; the ERCW tempercture control valve modifications will be completed by June 3, 1991.- It should also.be noted that the remaining four valves will be modified in accordanco with DCN M03442A, as l

opposed to DCN K00222, which was referred to in the references.

The DCN l

number for the modification was changed when the actual design approach for the modification was revised.
