Serial 19053, dated September 28, 1982 This letter, as were the referenced letters, is an interim 50.55(e) report on accident temperature effects on containment level measurement.
Investigation has limited the need for corrective action to steam Fenerator level transmitters.
It has been determined that instrument string rtror for this equipment under accident conditions exceeds that allowed to establish the steam generator ECCS control setpoints. Bechtel has been directd to investigate and recommend methods of reducing string error.
Another letter, either interim or final, will be provided on or before May 6, 1983.
