VOGTLE ELECTRIC GENERATING PLANT RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING REPLY TO A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Pursuant to 10 CFR 2.201, Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP) submitted letter LCV-0136D, dated April 28,1994, in response to a violation identified in Inspection Reports 50-424,425/94-04 which concerned the inspection conducted on February 28, 1994, through March 4,1994.
In this response one of the corrective steps stated by Georgia Power Company (GPC) to be taken to avoid further violations was that procedure 26866-C would be revised prior to l
any additional differential pressure (D/P) testing of the remaining GL 89-10 Program i
motor operated valves (MOVs). This procedure revision will incorporate additional acceptance criteria which must be satisfied prior to returning the MOV to service and include an abbreviated methodology for initial evaluation to require extrapolation of the actual test data to design basis conditions. The procedure revision will be completed by July 1,1994.
