Dear Administrative Judges:
Attached herewith please find OCRE's supplemental responses to Applicants' Second Set of Interrogatories to OCRE.
These l
responses provide the additional particularization requested l
with regard to Issue #9, on polymer degradation.
l These responses are based on information contained in FSAR.
However, Applicants have in-Amendment 9 to the Perr[ formation has been changed in the formed OCRE that this in recently issued Amendment 10 and is being revised further in the forthcoming Amendment 11.
In addition, Applicants have informed OCRE that they will be updating their response to OCRE's Interrogatory 3-4'to include additional polymers and components.
In light of these circumstances, OCRE has serious doubts as to wnether Issue #9 will be ready,for litigation in February 1983.
Indeed, in order to avoid the need for the continual updating of interrogatory responses such as these, it might be preferable to defer the litigation of Issue #9 until Applicants' data is in a more finalized state.
