Completion of Repair in Service Water System Gentlemen:
North Atlantic Energy Service Corporation submitted a relief request from ASME Code Section XI requirements on November 12,1993 [ Reference (b)]. The relief request sought approval to perform a temporary non-Code repair on Service Water System line 1801-6-153-3". The NRC subsequently granted the requested relief on February 22,1994 [ Reference (c)]. The NRC requested that North Atlantic inform the Commission in writing when the subject piping has been repaired or replaced.
North Atlantic hereby notifies the NRC that Service Water System line 1801-6-153-3" has been repaired utilizing a Code repair and hydrostatically tested during the current refueling outage.
