Gentlemen:
On February 6, 1991, Toledo Edison (TE) representatives met with the Nuclear Pegulatory Commission (NRC) Staff at the NRC Headquarters in Rockville,

Maryland to review the draft Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station (DBNPS)
Appendix R Fire Protection Safety Evaluation Report. -During that meeting, the NRC Staff requested that TE submit a letter cross-referencing information contained in Attachment 2 to TE letter Serial Number 1757, dated February 16, 1990 to the Fire Hazerds Analysis-Report Revision 12. to the February 16, 1990 TE letter referred to the Appendix R Compliance Assessment-Report (CAR), Revision 5.
The CAR was superseded by-the Fire Area Optimization Report (FAOR), Revision 0 on April 18, 1990, which was submitted to the NRC under TE letter Serial-Number 1801, dated April 25, 1990.
FAOR, Revision 0 was superseded by FAOR, Revision 1 on May 1, 1990, which was submitted to the NRC under TE letter Serial. Number-1805, dat9d May 10, 1990. The information provided in TE's February 16, 1990, letter was reflected in.the FAOR. FAOR, Revision 1 was superseded by the Fire Hazards Analysis Report (FHAR), Revision 12 on June 30, 1990, which was submitted to the NRC under TE letter Serial Number 1854, dated November 8, 1990.
As requested by the NRC Staff, the attachment to this letter provides a cross-reference between the CAR, Revision 5, references listed in Attachment 2 of TE's February 16, 1990, letter-and the location of the related' 6
information in-FHAR, Revision 12.
It is TE's understanding that the submittal of this_information vill assist in expediting.the NRC Staff's completion of the DBNPS Fire Protection' Safety Evaluation Report.-
