Dear Mr. Eisenhut:
A review of the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station Units 2 and 3 Operating Licenses and Appendix A - Technical Specification has been performed in response to your letter dated October 30, 1982 (Genaric Letter No. 82-23) which addressed
" Inconsistency Between Requirements of 10CFR 73.40 (d) and Standard Technical Specifications for Performing Audits 01 Safeguards Contingency Plan".
The Safeguards contingency Plan for Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station adopted as Amendments No. 77 to Facility Operating License DPR-44 and No. 76 to Facility Operating License DPR-56, states. in Section 3.7 Program Review:
"The Safeguards Contingency Plan and I
implementing procedures shall be reviewed at least annually by an individual or individuals appointed by the Superintendent - Generation Division-Nuclear, Electric Production l
Department.
The individual (s) shall not be on the staff of the Peach Bottom Atocic Power Station, Electric Production Department; or the Claims-Security Division, Legal Depar tment. "
