APPLICANTS' AMENDED ANSWER TO NEW HAMPSHIRE INTERROGATORY NO. 9.8 Without waiving its objection heretofore lodged (see " Applicants' Answer to Motion of the State of New Hampshire to Compel Answers to Its First Set of Interrogatories to Public Service Company of New Hampshire" at 3-4) insofar as this interrogatory transcends the scope of the admitted contention, the Applicants hereby amend their answer to that interrogatory so as to read, in its entirety, as follows:

" Response to N.H. 9.8 "The Seabrook Station Radiation Monitoring System meets or exceeds all the recommendations of Reg. Guide 1.97 (Rev. 2) with regard to such systems except as noted below:

" Variable Type E, Table 2, page 1.97-24: Radiation Exposure Meters (continuous indication at fixed locations).

"The recommendation of the Reg.

Guide has been superseded by Secy-82-lllB (September 8, 1982) which states (page 24, item 2.a), in part . . . continuous offsite dose monitors are not required pending their further development and consideration as requirements.'"
