strontium-89 (SR-O f, and strontium-90 (SR 90). The results of the analyses were tent le the NRC in a letter caced December 11, 1990.

In a telephone etaversau u on January 14, 1991, with Dan Jones of Radiologi a1 Iffluste 4A4 Chemistra Section in Region II, TVA was informed that the agruits s' the SR-89 and SR-90 analyses were not in agreement with the known concentrations of the radioisotopes sent to TVA.

TVA has reviewed its records and the records of the commercial vendor who performed the analyses. Ilowever, no apparent reason can be discerned for the aberrant results.

Therefore, TVA requests that new samples for SR-89and SR-90 analyses be sent to TVA and be addressed to:
