GNRO-94/ 00093 Gentlemen:
Entergy Operations, Inc. by this letter is submitting a revision to the proposed amendment to the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (GGNS) Operating License associated with our proposed exemption to 10 CFR 50, Appendix J.
The original request was sent to you by letter dated August 13, 1993.
As you know, several discussions have taken place between the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and GGNS staffs regarding our request for exemption to 10 CFR 50, Appendix J.
In the course of these conversations it became clear that some of the proposed changes to the GGNS Operating License did not allow sufficient flexibility for all contingencies that may occur as a result of the proposed rulemaking and, in some cases, may not have been sufficiently clear.
The enclosed marked up page revisions are therefore being submitted to aid in implementation of the requested exemption.
These proposed changes are consistent witn Revision 0 of the Improved Technical Specifications to minimize your review time and aid in tranaition to the new Technical Specifications.
The proposed changes are consistent with the original request and therefore, the details of the basis for the determination that there are no significant hazards considerations as well as the review of environmental impact considerations previously submitted, ccntinue to apply and are not included
