South Texas Project Units 1 & 2 Docket Nos. STN 50-498, STN 50-499 Final Safety Analysis Report Amendment 28 Please find under separate cover, sixty copies of Amendment 28 to the South Texas Project (STP) Units 1 and 2 Final Safety Analysis Report. A copy of this transmittal is attached to each amendment copy.
Amendment 28 consists of infomation describing the High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) terminal facility to be located on the STP site.
Please note that information regarding removal of personnel from the HVDC facility will be included in the STP Emergency Plan.
Effects of the HVDC terminal on the STP electrical system are currently under analysis. Based upon this analysis, Chapter 8 of the FSAR will be updated in a future amendment.
