By letter dated February 15, 1994, Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant provided a response to issues identified in the NRC Safety Evaluation for Monticello's Third Ten-Year Inservice Testing Program.
Our February 15, 1994 correspondence also contained a revision to Inservice Testing Program Relief Request PR-6 for NRC Staff review.
Relief Request PR-6 requests relief from the code required vibration alert limit and the resulting increased pump test frequency for the High Pressure Coolant Injection (HPCI) Pump and proposes an alternate pump vibration alert limit.
On May 24, 1994, Beth Wetzel of the NRC Staff requested that the available pump vibration data for the HPCI Pump be provided as supporting information for Relief Request PR-6. provides the requested data.
This letter contains no new NRC commitments, nor does it modify any prior commitments.
