Review of the Indian Point PSS
Dear Dr. Okrent:
We have completed our review of the Indian Point Probabilistic Safety Study for the ACRS and have enclosed a copy for your use. In view of the resources and staff expertise available, the focus of the review was limited to the areas noted in the Introduction to the report. Because of the simi-larities between the Indian Point PSS and the Zion PSS, extending to the same lead organization responsible for the PRA assessment, our review concentrated on design differences between Zion and Indian Point and on fire analysis. The fire analysis methodology was not reviewed for Zion by ANL personnel.
