This inspection covered Unit 1 operations and Health Physics through the period November 28, 1979 to January.4, 1980. The inspection in-cluded plant tours, inspections by shift NRC personnel, records and document searches.

The Operations Area was found acceptable with no items of non-compiiance.

Past Open Item 78-06-01 relative to work inside steam generators --
NRC concern is in relation to the fact that Met-Ed owes a response and action.
Met-Ed, by letter dated 12/11/79 - GQL 1510, committed a response on this item by 12/31/79 and this response has not been forwarded to date.
To resolve this item:

Until HP will look at the Unit 2 commitment in this area and will resolve the items with the NRC Action:
