Dear Dr. Bates:
As a followup to our conversation at the TRTR meeting last week at College Station, Texas, we are writing to inform you about the status of our Emergency Plan due November 3, 1982.
The operating license (R-63) for the Un* ersity of Oklahoma AGN-211P reactor is under renewal evaluation (Docke j). As part of the renewal application, we forwarded to Jim Miller a revised Emergency Plan April 20, 1982.
We believe that submission to be in accord with the new requirements.
After listening to your infonnative presentation at TRTR, I can see some aspects which could be improved. With your concurrence, we will await your evaluation and respond as necessary.
I was pleased to meet you and Frank Pagano. The TRTR meetings are becoming increasingly more valuable, due in no small part to the strong NRC participation.
Let us hear from you as is necessary.
Very truly yours, f
& A/. /
