Dear Mr. Eisenhut:
In the subject Generic Letter No.83-10C (Resolution of TMI Action Item II.K.3.5, " Automatic Trip of the Reactor Coolant Pumps") you requested that we provide our plans and schedules for resolution of this issue for our facility within 60 days from receipt of this letter. We have been working with the Westinghouse Owners Group to help resolve this issue for our units. Due to the' delay in receiving the information from the Owners Group we are unable to meet the 60 day request. We will have our response in by June 30, 1983.
We apologize for not recognizing this fact earlier and submitting to you our schedule within 30 days after the receipt of this letter (February 22, 1983).
