Inspection Report No. 50-193/94-01/ Status of State Prograrc / Documentation of ALARA and Radiation Protection Program

Dear Mr. Joyner:

The State of Rhcde Island Rules and Regulations has been revised to reflect the changes in 10CFR20. An abridged version was received first and the final complete version was received on May 9, 1994.

We have started revising the procedures and the Radiation Safety Guide. The documentation will be completed by July 31, 1994 rather than June 1, 1994 due to delays associated with the receipt of revisions from the state.

Sincerely Jezj'hanlyv%g Terp e D .edor TT:cd l
