Dear Mr. Chilk:

l Georgia Power Company has reviewed the proposed rule, " Revision of Fee Schedules,100  ;

Percent Fee Recovery, FY 1994," published in the Federal Register on May 10,1994. In accordance with the request for comments, Geor gia Power Company is in total agreement with the NEI comments which are to be provided to the NRC.

Georgia Power Company continues to believe that it is important for the NRC to control its intemal costs in order for the nuclear industry to be successful in reducing overall l program costs. It is noted that the FY 1994 Part 171 fees are less than the FY 1993 Part  !

171 fees. However, further reductions in the power reactor fees are possible, especially in the areas where we are required to unfairly su asidize cost recovery for activities that clearly l benefit all licensees and for activities that are unrelated to the power reactors. class. ,
