Enclosed is the " Request to Participate as an Interested Municipality" for the Town of Amesbury, Mc.ssachusetts, copies of which have been mailed to the Service List.
Please be advised that we wish the name of Maynard B. Pearson to be placed on the Service List, as our representative in these proceedings.
Mr. Pearson is Director of Amesbury's Civil Defense. --
Please be further advised that our interests lie as follows:
Emergency Planning for Protection of the Public; Emergency Planning Implementation for Protection of the Public; Emergency Planning Exercises to assure the Protection of the Public:
Warning of All of the Public; Radiation Monitoring Before and After the Plant Opens; Amount of Time in which Contamination Could Reach Public; Insurance Coverage for the Public for Nuclear Accidents; Insurance Coverage for the Public for an Evacuation (Both for Severe Accidents and Precautionary Evacuation).
In addition to the above, we wish to be allowed to address any other subjects on which " Interested Municipalities" are entitled to comment.
