Dear Mr. 31senhut,

As a citizen of Saginaw County, I am more than a little concerned over the Midland nuclear plants which are now under construction.

I'm wondering why a company would doctor the x-rays of the bad welds at the plant. Is there really no heart in the corporate body of Consumers?

The problems with the heating and ventilation systems, the embrittlement factor and the soils compaction problem are all a worry to me, as a citizen, and more importantly, as a parent.

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission exists to protect 'us from these potential disasters. Please do your job well.

I request that an independent audit of the Midland plant begin at the earliest possible time and that the NRC sponsor more public meetings, such as the one held in Midland last February (this time in a much bigger place) .
