Enclosed is " Request to Participate as an Interested Munici-pality" for the Town of Newbury, Mass. 01950, copies of which have been mailed to the Service List.
Please be advised that the Town wishes the name of Mr. Angie Machiros, Chairman of the Board of Selectmen be placed on the Service List, as our representative in these proceedings.
The Town of Newbury would also like to take this opportunity to advise you that our position is neither anti or pro-nuclear.
That our main concern is for the protection of our citizens.
That we feel that this will add an additional safety valve insurance to the present Evacuation Plan that is under way in our area b Engineers,y Costello, Lamasney and DeNapoli, Inc., Consulting Portsmouth, N. H.
