50-328 On March 7,1983, we had a telephone conversation with Carl Stahle of your staff and Don Brinkman, NRC, to discuss the acceptance criteria for the surveillance requirement for the Emergency Gas Treatment System (EGTS) charcoal filters. The NRC agreed that for our Sequoyah Nuclear Plant units 1 and 2, the acceptance criteria for surveillance requirement for the charcoal filters (TS 4.6.1.8) defined by Table 2 of Regulatory Guide 1.52, Revision 2, is less than 1-percent methyl iodine penetration at a relative humidity of 70 percent per test 5.b.
