Sa fe ty significance was minimal since the radioactive relence I
,was of a very low level and limited to within site boundary. No effect on public l
health or safety. Previous similar occurrence reported by DVR 12-2-81-14.

When the isolation condenser Low Level alarm annunciated, the NSO opened the 3-1301-10 valve to make up the shell side of the isolation condenser. This valve allowed contaminated demineralized water into the condenser. Approximately 22,400- gallons was added allowing.7 millicuries to steam out the vent. This release was discovered at 2130 and Red Phone call made at 2200.
