Dear Mr. Axelson:

KL

.0L FILE yH This is a follow-up to our phone conversation of February 24, 1983.

{!

The.10 and 50 mile EPZ maps supplied by your office have the Callaway Plant incorrectly located, l

The plant is shown on the maps 1 - 1 miles West of where it should be.

The error probably occurred by using an incor-rect longitude given in the Callaway FSAR Site Adden-dum (2.1.1.1 Specification of Location) for the mid-point of two reactors.

The correct location for the midpoint should be 38*-45'-42.3" latitude and 91*-46'-52.4" longitude.

This correction will be incorporated in FSAR Revision 5, 2/83.

Since 1 - 1 miles is significant within the 10 mile EPZ and those maps were issued to FEMA, SEMA and NRC Incident Response Centers in Washington and Glen Ellyn, they should be corrected.

If you should have further questions, please call (314) 676-8261.

Very truly yours, JL( lJU Al White Supervisor, Emergency Preparedness AEW/dch cc:
