This letter forwards the results of the mechanical snubber inspection program for Beaver Valley Unit I as required by Items 3 and 4 of the subject Bulletin. No failures were identified by our inspection program as described in the attached Table I.
Our canpower expended to prepare procedures, perform inspections and prepare the report is estimated to be 90 manhours. This is in addition to the manpower expended for the initial review as reported in our original reply.

TABLE I IE Bulletin 81-01 Results _of _I_nsp_e_c_t_ ion _P_rogram Each snubber was visually examined for damage and nanually stroked over its full range to verify freedom of movement. The pro-cedure involved removing one end of the mechanical snubber from its retaining bracket and manually extending and retracting the snubber through its full stroke range. The results of these inspections are individually documented in the Maintenance Work Request (MWR) file at Beaver Valley No. 1.
No failures were identified by our inspection program.
