APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT OF OPERATING LICENSE Pursuant to Section 50.90 of the regulations of the U. S. Nuclear

• Regulatory Commission ("the Commission"), Omaha Public Power District, holder of facility Operating License No. DPR-40, herewith requests that the Technical Specifications set forth in Appendix A to that License be amended to implement changes which reflect the new 10 CFR Part 20 and administrative changes The proposed changes in Technical Specifications are provided in Attachment A to this Application. A Discussion, Justification and No Significant Hazards Consideration Analysis, which demonstrates that the proposed changes do not involve significant hazards considerations, is appended in Attachment B. The proposed change; in specifications would not authorize any change in the types or any increase in the amounts of effluents or a change in the authorized power level of the facility.

WHEREFORE, A)plicant respectfully requests that the Definitions section, 5.16, and Specifications 5.17 of Appendix 2.2L A to(Table Facility2-10), 3.1 (Table Operating 3-3),

License No.5.9.1, DPR-405.9.4, 5.11,ded in the be amen form attached hereto as Attachment A.
