Dear Sir:
The referenced letter rescheduled final submittal of FitzPatrick's Radiological Effluent Technical Specifications (RETS) and accompanying Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (ODCM), due to recently revised NRC criteria.
The letter also indicated that we would provide a new schedule for final submittal after the new criteria had been reviewed.
Power Authority personnel discussed the revised criteria with the NRC staff on February 18, 1983.
On February 28, in a discussion between J.
Hegner of the NRC and J. A. Gray. Jr. of the Authority, we committed to submit RETS by April 30, 1983 and the ODCM by May 30, 1983.
This letter confirms that schedule.
This additional time is required to address the revised NRC criteria for RETS and to provide for an internal safety review of the submittal, as required by the Technical Specifications.

e r p For the ODCM, additional time is required since the burden of work on Authority personnel'makes it necessary to employ a consultant to complete the submittal.
