Central Emergency Control Center (CECC) reteorological data collection system for the Browns Ferry and Sequoyah Operating Nuclear Plants.

Below are the CECC meteorological data availability statistics covering the period October 1 through December 31, 1982. These fjgures are an end-to-end assessment of the Environmental Data Station (EDS) data collection, transmission, reception, and subsequent storage in the CECC computer system. Allowances were not made for outages of the EDS computer systems and downtime of the Bell-leased lines, Hardware and software enhancements that monitor the meteorological data received by the CECC 4

computer system and alarm the CECC duty specialist in the event of an outage have resulted in a quicker response time to malfunctions, thus incressing the overall data availability.

The availability figures are as follows:

Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant 98.6 percent Sequoyah Nuclear Plant 96.3 percent
