Research Reactor, Docket No. 50-20, 10 CFR 50.64(c)(2)(ii) u, Gentlemen In accordance with 10 CFR 50.64, Limitations on the Use of Highly Enriched Uranium, the MIT Nuclear Reactor Laboratory submits herewith the information required by subsection (c)(2)(11) of that paragraph.
l We have been notified by the U.S., Department of Energy that j
Federal ' funding for conversion to low enriched uranium will not be l
available during Fiscal Year 1991. A copy of Mr. Richard E. Stephens
letter dated January 31, 1991' is attached.
I Its is our understanding that this letter fulfills the require-ments of - 10 CFR 50.64 :until March 27, 1992.
We shall inform you if further.information regarding the -availability of funding should become availablo in the meantime.
