This letter constitutes a supplement to our response to the subject Report, QA-1884, dated July 21, 1982, concerning reporting of 10CFR50.55(e) events to the Commission.
With regards to the " Corrective Action Taken to Avoid Further Noncompliance" section of the response, in addition to the commit-ments already made, CG&E will provide additional training for CG&E site personnel to the reporting requirements of 10CFR50.55(e).
Personnel to be trained include those in the Nuclear Engineering, Generation Construction, Nuclear Production and Quality Assurance Departments whose duties include the processing, review and approval of Nonconformance Reports (NRs), Corrective Action Requests (CARS),
Audit Findings (AFRs), Condition Evaluation Requests (CERs) and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs). Training will include indoc-trination to identification of significant deficiencies in design and construction and the established procedure for bringing such deficiencies to the attention of appropriate levels of management.

In addition, document reviewers will be instructed to the applicability of reporting requirements during their reviews of past NRs and CARS to identify pctentially reportable items to re-sponsible management. All training will be completed by September 30, 1982.
