The Baltimore Gas and Electric (BG&E) Company hereby withdraws our request for amendment to Operating License Net. DPR 53 and DPR-69 for Calvert Cliffs Unit Nos. I and 2, respectively, dated October 27,1989. As indicated below, the information supporting this request has been superseded.
Further, this letter identifies that subsequent actions have fulfilled the requirements of Generic Letter 88-11.
NRC Generic Letter 8811 (Reference a) requested that BG&E perform :a.; tor vessel materials analyses using the guidance of Revision 2 of Regulatory Guide 1.99, " Radiation Embrittlement of Reactor Vessel hinterials." We submitted a license amendment request on October 27, 1989 (Reference b), to incorporate the results of those analyses.

Document Control Desk January 28,1991 Page 2 Subsequently,13G&E updated these analyses to incorporate additional controls to protect against low temperature overpressure coiUtions. These analyses also incorporated the guidance of Regulatory Guide 1.99, Revision 2. These controls were submitted for NRC review and were later approved as Unit 1 Amendment No.146 on September 18,1990 (Reference c), and as Unit 2 Amendment No.131 on December 18,1990 (Reference d).
Since the actions requested in NRC Ocneric Ixtter 88-11 were completed with the issuance of Amendrnent No. 146/131, our license amendment request dated October 27, 1939, is no longer relevant and is therefore withdrawn.
