IN THE MATTER OF 238 NUCLEAR ISLAND GENERAL ELECTRIC STANDARD SAFETY ANALYSIS REPORT (GESSAR II); DOCKET NO. STN 50-447 Enclosed please find 3 original copies (transmitted unde separate cover are 60 conformed copies) of Amendment No. 9 to the 238 eneral Electric Standard Safet) Analysis Report (GESSAR II) for the above numbered application.
Amendment No. 9 further amends GESSAR II by furnishing Chapter 18, Human Factors.
Amendment No. 9 also amends GESSAR II by clarifying portions of the text where obvious discrepancies exist.
Amendment 9 consists of two parts, a non proprietary portion and a portion considered by the General Electric Company to be proprietary.
The pages considered to be proprietary are so marked and are transmitted under separate cover.
We request that this proprietary information be withheld from public disclosure and be considered proprietary pursuant to Section 2.790 of 10CFR Part 2 for the reasons presented in the separate cover.
