Hearing.Docket@nrc.gov Washington, DC 20555-0001 ATTN: Secretary of the Commission RE: Demand for Hearing on Indian Point License Transfer, NRC-2020-0021

Dear Sir or Madam Secretary:

I am writing to request more regional hearings so that the public has adequate opportunity to testify about he appointment of Holtec Corp. as the Decommissioning agent. As you know, the planned closure and decommissioning of the Indian Point nuclear facility affects at least 20 million people who reside within a fifty (50) mile radius of the IP nuclear facility.

Many are very concerned that the decommissioning won't be thorough if the license is transferred to Holtec. The NRC should hold more regional adjudicatory hearings regarding the proposed license transfer; and these hearings need to be held where the public may testify as to the gross inappropriateness of the appointment of the Holtec corporation as decommissioning agent.

Thank you, Dr. Susan Spieler Clinical Psychologist 230 Central Park West New York, NY 10024 212.877-0355
