Dear Mr. Collins:
While performing post weld heat treatment on penetrations 40 and 41, as part of the required corrective action, excessive heat was applied resulting in the sensitizing of the material. Both penetrations were therefore rejected with an engineering disposition to cut out and replace. Replacement penetrations have been received on site.
Installation of the replacement penetrations is anticipated to be completed by January 29, 1983.
l Based on the above, a Final Report vill be submitted by February 11, 1983.
