50-260 50-296 In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR Parts 50.59 ana 50.90, we are enclosing 40 copies of a requested amendment to licenses DPR-33, DPR-52, and DPR-68 to change the technical specifications of Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant units 1, 2, and 3 (Enclosure 1).
A description of the changes and reason and justification for each are also enclosed (Enclosure 2).
These are administrative changes which serve only to update certain specifications and clarify requirements of others. These changes have no adverse impact on plant safety. Several of the proposed changes involve the same specifications as TVA BFNP TS 176 submitted by my letter t.o you dated September 14, 1982. This is, therefore, submitted as a supplement to TS 176. We request approval of these proposed changes, along with TS 176, by December 17, 1982.
In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR Part 170.22, Class II and Claes I fees totaling $2,000 were forwarded with license amendment request TVA BFNP TS 176. Because the proposed specification revisions are only a minor extension of TS 176 we do not believe additional review fees are appropriate. Therefore, no fees will be forwarded.
