Facility License: R-56; Docket No. 50-83 Gentlement The enclosed package contains Revision 6 to the approved UFTR Emergency Plan.

Revision 6 has been reviewed by UFTR management and the Reactor Safety Review Subcommittee (RSRS) to assure Revision 6 does not decrease the effectiveness of the UFTR Emer6ency Plan. All the changes are considered minor in nature.

First, Revision 6 consists of changes to Figure 1.2 on Page 1-4 to document the location of the rapid sample insertion pneumatic (rabbit) system in the northwest corner of the radiochemistry laboratory as well as the conversion of the FAA Laboratory (southwest corner) into a separate room with removal of the two hoods in the center of the room. Other changes documented on the updated Figure 1.2 are the room numbers which have been changed over the past year.

Second, Fevision 6 consists of a change on Page 10-5 to correct a typographical error for the location of the Emergency Equipment Cart to be in Room 106 of the Nuclear Sciences Center, not Room 109 as previously indicated.

Finally, Re'ision 6 consists of an updated Emergency Equipment Inventory at the Emergency Su port Center. The change consists of correcting the stated location r

In addition, several typographical errors and omissions in Table 10.3 have been corrected.

As indicated, all changes have been reviewed by UPTR management and by the Reactor Safety Review Subcommittee to assure they do not decrease the effectiveness of the UPTR Emergency Plan.

Sincerely, I
