MONTHLY NARRATIVE. REPORT OF OPERATION ~
AND MAJCR MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE This report describes the operating and majormaintenance experience for the month of August, 1982.
This narrative report was prepared by the plant staff and is submitted in accordance with Section 6.9.1.10 of the plant Technical Specifications.
The Auxiliary Salt Water System was washed with inhibited hydrochloric acid to remove barnacle shells and restore rated system flow. Results indicate that the wash successfully removed the barnacle shells.
No challenges to the PORV's or safety valves have been made.
Furthermore, no changes have been made in the Offsite Dose Calculhtion Procedure, the Environmental Radiological Monitoring Procedure, or any radioactive waste treatment systems.
