OPERATOR LICENSING EXAMINATIONS (GENERIC LETTER 90-07)
Information is provided to update that which was previously supplied-in' response to Generic Letter 89-12.
The information contained in the enclosures provides the requested dates for operator licensing examinations (Initial and Requal) for Salem and. Hope Creek Generating _ Stations during-the upcoming fiscal year. (FY91).=
Information pertaining to subsequent fiscal years e
up to and including FY1994 has been updated, but remains as " test estimates".
If additional clarification is required for the licensing exami-nation. schedule for either Hope Creek or Salem Generating Stations, please contact Gregory Mecchi, (609) 339-3857.

Please indicate examinations intended to extend an operator's license to a second or subsequent unit with two asterisks (**).
(For example, if Unit 1 is in operation and Unit 2 is approaching fuel load, and three R0 candidates w.ith no previous license are to be examined on both Units 1 and 2, and five RO candidates licensed on Unit I are to be examined to extend their licenses to Unit 2, then indicate "R0 3,5**.")
NOTE: f As per discussion with Richard J. Conte, Chief, BWR Section, Operations Branch, U.S. NRC, Region I, it is requested that the National Examination Schedule dates assigned to llope Creek and Shoreham Cencrating Stations be exchanged.
Ilope Creek would then be scheduled to have examinations conducted in the months of June and December.
Shoreham would have the months of March and September available for exams.
This exchange would become ef fective for exams scheduled after October 1, 1990 and be consistent with the presently scheduled flope Creek LO Requal Exam arranged by Mr. Conte.
