TV Electric Letter logged TXX-88176 from W. G. Counsil to NRC dated February 5, 1988 Gentlemen:
On January 6,1988, TV Electric notified the NRC via report logged TXX-88016 (Ref. 1), of a reportable deficiency involving platforms and support structures which may be overstressed.
The last report on this issue was logged TXX-89536, dated July 31, 1989 (Ref. 2).
The purpose of this supplemental report is to correct an error in the earlier report on this issue, logged TXX-88176 dated February 5, 1988 (Ref 3),
in TXX-88176, TV Electric stated that " design validation of seismic category I and 11 steel structures has been completed for Units 1 and 2, and design modifications have been issued to correct installations which do not conform to the revised criteria." The unit designation in the above statement should have read "... Unit 1 and Common...."
Corrective actions associated with Unit 2 are scheduled to be completed prior to Unit 2 fuel load.
